Our practitioners

TARA L. WHITNEY, MA, LPC, NCC

Tara is a 2019 graduate of Nicholls State University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Approved Supervisor (LPC-S), she is trained and well practiced in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), offering a safe, compassionate space for individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and life’s most complex challenges.

With over 16 years of dedicated service as a Law Enforcement Officer, Tara brings a unique blend of strength, empathy, and trauma-informed care to her work. She is highly trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) practices, providing calm, steady guidance in moments of uncertainty.

Beyond her clinical work, Tara is deeply passionate about creating welcoming, supportive spaces for students and supervisees entering the counseling profession. She believes in nurturing curiosity, encouraging growth, and fostering a collaborative environment where future clinicians can develop both their clinical skills and their confidence. Tara is honored to walk alongside emerging professionals as they find their voice, deepen their knowledge, and step fully into their calling as healers. Email Tara at twhitney@whitneymediations.com

Lindsay Dugas, ryt, c-iayt, ap

As a trauma informed ayurvedic practitioner and guide, Lindsay is dedicated to being a space holder and a vessel of the Divine. Her journey is one of devotion—to healing, truth, and the gentle unfolding of the soul. Rooted in ancient wisdom and sacred stillness, her work draws from her background in Ayurveda and years of experience teaching yoga. She's discovered that true healing comes not from force, but from allowing; not from fixing, but from remembering. Lindsay embraces a kindful life where slowness is her practice and presence is her prayer. The teachings she absorbed while practicing with monks at Plum Village inform every space she holds. At Metamorphosis Healing Arts Center, she offers more than just services—she offers a sanctuary. Through TRE, yoga, somatic writing, and frequency healing, she guides others back to their bodies, their power, and their truth. Email Lindsay at ldugas@whitneymediations.com
